Our Journey

1997

Plenser Enterprises (Plant Engineering Services) officially opens its doors for business at the Railway Godowns, Nairobi

2001

Plenser Limited is incorporated, offering technical support in boilers and mechanical works

2007

A pivotal partnership begins with Todaysure Matthews (now Matthews Environmental Solutions) for Surefire® incinerators.

2013

Ranked 4th in Kenya’s Top 100 Mid-Sized Companies by Nation Media Group and KPMG.

2013

Installed the first incinerator outside Kenya at Geita Gold Mines, Tanzania.

2015

Relocated to our own manufacturing facility at Saku Business Park.

2016

Expanded our clean energy portfolio by
venturing into solar technology.

2018

Major expansion into the Horn of Africa, installing 18 incinerators in Ethiopia and 2 in Somalia.

2020

A landmark year—launch of the Pyroflame, our own Kenyanmanufactured incinerator, matching global performance standards.

2023

Formation of the Plenser Group of companies, diversifying into Evolving Technologies, Plenser Industrial Spares and Plenser Waste Management Limited.
